I’ve been involved in sport and structured training since high school, where I was awarded a sports scholarship that introduced me to strength and conditioning alongside competitive sport. That early exposure is what sparked my interest in performance-based training and laid the foundation for how I coach today.
Now, as the owner of Thrive and a student studying a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology, my coaching is driven by both practical experience and evidence-based methods. I take a strong interest in injury prevention, movement efficiency, and long term performance; not just how someone moves in the gym, but how they feel and function outside of it.
A big part of my work involves collaborating with physiotherapists and other allied health professionals to support clients managing or recovering from musculoskeletal injuries such as ACL reconstructions, shoulder dislocations, or muscle tears. I help bridge the gap between rehab and full return to training - ensuring clients rebuild strength, restore function & confidence, and move with proper technique.
Strength training is at the core of everything I coach. It’s not just about lifting heavy, it’s about improving movement quality, building resilience, and setting a strong foundation that supports every other goal, whether that’s fat loss, performance, or simply moving without pain. My approach is built around mastering the basics, progressing with intent, and making training something that adds to your life - not something you dread or feel unsure about.
I started Thrive because I wanted to create a space where people - especially women, feel supported, informed, and empowered to train properly. A space where education and coaching go hand in hand, and where every client, regardless of their starting point, can build strength and confidence that carries into every aspect of their life.

HOW I DO THINGS
Whilst my fitness certifications give me the piece of paper required to be a coach, my programming comes from much more of this.
Everything I write stems from…
1) Studying a higher education in the sport and exercise space means as my knowledge develops further, the programming structure becomes scientifically sound
2) First hand experience with learning what does and does not work with different individuals both in person and online
3) My own personal struggles within this environment. I find learning new movements hard and have had to experiment with many methods to see improvements in myself which now helps others
4) Five years receiving quality coaching mixed in with some poor coaching through my competitive sports and journey into the gym. Here I’ve learnt what does and does not work for different ages/ levels.
5) Coaching is personal. Your goals and individual journey is as important to me as it is to you.
